Balfe's Bikes Streatham

87 Streatham Hill, London SW2 4UB, UK – 020 8671 1984

Fantastic bike shop! Really helps that it's opposite my house too. The guys there are so friendly - they really know their stuff and do fantastic servicing and repairs for a good price. In fact, the full service is probably the best value that I've seen in London (I.e. the mechanics care and do a proper job for a great price) My full service was turned around so quickly and I was kept informed at every stage. They even threw in a new bit of hardware gratis to keep my bike in good shape. Look forward to my next visit! Cheers guys. P.S. if you guys are planning on doing a shop ride ever I'll be there!

I use my bicycle to commute 5 days a week and hadn't had it serviced since buying it 2 years was in need of a good makeover. Balfe's service is top of the range and they kept me informed throughout the whole process. I cycled away with a perfectly working bicycle. Excellent work....i will see you soon.

Brixton Cycles

296-298 Brixton Rd, London SW9 6AG, UK – 020 7733 6055

Really impressed with the friendly, professional service here. As a very new cyclist I was given lots of advice on how to adjust my bike for maximum comfort! I’ll definitely stick with this place 👍🏻

Amazing place! I’ve been going here since they moved to the new premises on Brixton Road. Super friendly, helpful service and never judgemental or intimidating. Got my bicycle serviced and it’s back to feeling as good as new. The person who served me explained everything that had been done to my bike. They also have lots of great merch which is super good for gifting. I found out recently that they also run bike maintenance classes for women and queers as well as free bike checks on Wednesday mornings which made me feel really happy and invested in the business. Go there and support an independent business/workers co op that really gives back to the community

Evans Cycles

2, 65 Clapham High St, London SW4 7TG, UK – 020 7720 4139

I normally get my bike serviced at small ind shops as I want to support them plus I think the knowledge and customer service is better. However, I had to use Evans today because of an issue with my bike on the way to work and was incredibly pleased with the knowledge and customer service of the mechanic, Alberto. He quickly sorted my issue but at the same time as doing the work explained why the issue occurred, what he was doing, the rationale and some future care tips. I got my bike fixed and even got to work on time.

Hello, today I visited your bicycle service because I had a problem with my bike. Alberto took care of him. he approached the subject very professionally, showing me what was wrong. general professionalism and willingness to explain me resulted in a very good assessment of his work.Alberto, your skills and knowledge about bikes result in the desire to give your bike more often in your hands. thank you very much.

Get A Grip Bicycle Workshop Ltd

19 Lavender Hill, London SW11 5QW, UK – 020 7223 4888

This is the best bike shop around by miles. They staff are friendly, honest and do an amazing job every time. I've been into the shop for all sorts of reasons and have never been let down once. They are surprisingly cheap for a bike shop in London. What makes it most appealing is it's family run and always have decent music playing.

I've been getting my bike serviced and repaired here for a few years now. The service is always excellent - friendly, knowledgeable, honest and straight-forward. And it's quick. They know I use my bike everyday so if they can get it done on the same day they do - one evening they even stayed open late so I could collect my bike after a service. For a small shop they also have a good range of bikes and accessories.
